E911 Anywhere™ Enterprise - Capabilities

E911 Anywhere™ can support location management for all phones in the enterprise. This includes analog, digital, IP hard phones, softphones, SIP phones and Unified Communication clients.
The LIS component tracks phones as they move in the enterprise, reading location information from the call server itself or discovering the location of IP phones automatically using network discovery techniques. You can adopt a mix-and-match strategy where you support traditional ALI E911 at your large sites, while you adopt the E911 Anywhere™ service for your remote sites and for your mobile or teleworkers.

Mobile softphone users are supported by using the RedSky SLDA client application which is loaded on the softphone laptop. SLDA prompts the user to identify their location prior to them using softphone. This location information is transacted by the LIS and sent to the E911 Anywhere™ service.

There is no limit to the number of users you can have on the E911 Anywhere™ Service. The LIS can support up to 100,000 individual phones or devices.
