Broadcast Alert
Broadcast Alert can notify hundreds or thousands of students, faculty, employees
in minutes of an event using SMS messages.
If you need to reach a large group of people at once, Broadcast Alert is for you. You can quickly send an email or SMS message to large groups of individuals, informing them of an event. Events can be emergency events or simple reminders like "school will recess early today." Broadcast Alert is an optional feature of RedSky's Emergency On-site Notification (EON) product.
Broadcast Alert allows administrators to easily create groups (i.e. all students, all faculty, etc.) and capture the cell phone numbers of these user groups. Cell phone numbers can also be imported into the application from other databases. Once the groups are established, it is easy to instantly create a broadcast message, select a group and send the message. Alternately, messages can be created in advance and released according to a schedule. With Broadcast Alert, messages are delivered within seconds of being sent.
